Cheryl Ebmeier, OD

Dr. Cheryl graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2000. She has served on the Broward Optometric Association as a trustee, maintained her continuing education requirements and stayed up to date on the latest trends in eye care. She is an associate professor for Nova Southeastern and trains the student doctors during their 3 month externships.

Dr. Cheryl works at the Millennium Laser Eye Centers doing consultations and pre/post-operative care for refractive surgery. This experience is unique and gives her expert knowledge in the area. She is able to logically explain refractive surgical options from PRK, LASIK, SMILE, refractive lens exchange, and Multifocal lens implants and discuss which might be your best solution to eliminate your dependency on glasses or contacts.

Dr. Cheryl has a passion for providing eye care for families and stressing the importance of eyecare for children. She has provided complimentary school screenings at several of the area schools to help educate and catch vision problems during a critical developmental time. She has been a long-time provider for infantSee, a program providing free eye exams to children less than 1 year old.

When not caring for her patients, Cheryl is caring for her husband, Mauricio and 2 daughters Kaylee (14) and Olivia (11) and their 2 very spoiled shih-tzus. They enjoy family time and time with their friends who are like family, traveling, water sports, and exercising.
