My new ability to see distant objects is crucial to my ability to successfully identify equations on the board in school or equipment in the field in my internship. When I work in the field or lab and wear safety glasses, I would not have the ability to wear my distance glasses along with them. I am also very fond of snorkeling and wakeboarding and can now enjoy these activities without the hindrance of poor vision.
