Hands down the best decision I have made in my 40's. Life will be much easier now that I can wake up and see in the morning and see while I am surfing and free diving.
Getting LASIK at Millennium was a great experience! Everyone was very kind and professional; and made the experience great! I tell everyone if they're going to get LASIK it needs to be here.
My profession is virtually impossible to perform without constant, time-sensitive reading. And with my position, there is little room to take off any significant period of time. I had been reluctant to take any risks whatsoever to my vision. Finally, it came down to me either getting the procedure now, or buying a new pair of expensive glasses, putting this off another 10 years, and then never getting it done. I finally really listened to my optometrist and friend, who has worked with Millenium for decades. The screening process was so unbelievably thorough. The surgeons and staff at Millenium are super knowledgeable, and they explained everything to a very skeptical person who asks hard questions with ease. When it came time for the procedure, I was comfortable that the bad complications I had been afraid of were so remote that they weren't an issue. Still, I was realistic, and knew this was a procedure and there was healing, so don't expect perfect. That's where I was really blown away. Right after the procedure, I could see 20/50, by the time I left, 20/40. By the next morning, 20/15. And by one week, I was literally EXACTLY where they had targeted. I have what my friends and family call "fighter pilot vision" now. It's insane. And it's a testament to the surgeons at this facility, who from my research are the most experienced on the latest technology. I cannot recommend them enough, or the procedure, more. I am kicking myself for not having it done earlier in my life.
Millennium did an amazing job on my vision with no complications. The process was simple and painless and everyone in the office made me feel comfortable and confident with the procedure. I would recommend Millennium to family and friends.
I'm so happy with how clear I can see without wearing contacts or glasses. I got my first pair of glasses in 4th grade, now I'm 25, and it's such a crazy feeling to think I won't need glasses and contacts again. I still have this habit of wanting to take my contacts out before bed, and always freaking out in the morning thinking I slept with my contacts on, and then remember I don't have contact
I can't remember when I first started wearing glasses, but I will always remember the feeling when I was able to see everything clearly. Within the first hour that I got home after my LASIK procedure I was able to see the TV clearly. I'm so amazed with my experience and I would recommend anyone to do this. It's an amazing investment! I'm so grateful to be able to wake up and see now. I should've made this decision a long time ago! The staff has always been so kind and welcoming throughout my entire process which made my experience reassuring and easy going.
I started wearing glasses at the age of 5 and 22 years later the best decision I could have made was to go to Millennium to get LASIK. The procedure was quick and painless. I cannot believe that I do not have to worry about putting on my glasses or contacts anymore. Dr. Lessner and his staff were AMAZING through out the entire process. Thank you for my new vision!

I never really considered having LASIK/PRK because my eyesight kept changing. After consulting with my doctor though, it was a great decision. The team at Millennnium made it even easier and walked me along the entire process. Definitely recommend to anyone even considering this procedure.
